The air quality at your home
The air quality in the home can be 10 to 30 times worse than the air quality outside. Our outside air is polluted by car and industry emissions. Particularly in large cities and along motorways, the chance of polluted air is very high. The air quality in the house is further polluted by the use of cleaning products and dust drifting around from furniture.
The main causes of air pollution are particulate matter particles (PM2.5) that can penetrate into the lungs, gases (VOCs) and biological pollutants such as fungi, dust mites, animal dander, pollen, dust, bacteria and viruses. Because research has shown that people spend around 90% of their time indoors, it is very important to ensure the highest possible air quality in your home.
